So challenging, but so true. Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” If we confess that our home belongs to God, it will be a house of prayer! Praying families are world-changing families. #houseofprayer #ilovetopray #prayingfamilies #aboverubies

Raise them for maturity. Prepare them for manhood and responsibility. Even while in their youth teach them to work hard and embrace responsibility. Teach them while they are young that they will one day be the providers of their homes and families. They haven’t got time to flit around and waste their teen years. Sadly today, there are too many beautiful young women who are longing to get married and have children. They know how to run a a home. They are ready for motherhood. But where are the young men? Many young men in their mid and late twenties are still not ready to take on the responsibility of marriage and children! What has happened to manhood? Let’s raise young men who are courageous, strong, know how to work hard, who can “play the man,” who are full of vision, who are on fire and committed to God, and who are ready for marriage and children! Amen. #grownupintheiryouth #youngmenofcourage #matureyou gmen #goodbyetowimps #readyformarriage #aboverubies
Do we allow our emotions and attitudes to be dictated by our circumstances? That’s so easy to let happen, isn’t it?
This morning I read Habakkuk 3:17, 18 (NLT) which is always such a challenge to me: “EVEN THOUGH the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are grapes on the vines; EVEN THOUGH the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; EVEN THOUGH the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!”
The situation was total devastation and destruction. This guy had nothing left, but God Himself. And yet he is still rejoicing.
What about us?
Have you been up all night with the baby? And you’re feeing lousy. Can you still say, “Even though . . God is good. I will rejoice.”
You wonder how on earth you can pay the rent! “Even though . . . I will rejoice in the Lord. I know that God will not fail us.”
You are burdened about a sick parent or child. “Even though . . . I will rejoice. I will trust my God.”
I think it all comes back to putting our trust in God and knowing that He is a God who cannot fail. Let’s trust Him more.
Let’s confess the right confession. Let’s be those who can say “Even though . . . “
The Lord abundantly bless you today,

I love to read Isaiah 41:10 in a special way. Did you realize there are seven promises in this Scripture, one for every day of the week? You can take one each day, and thank God for His constant presence with you, no matter what you are going through.
Fear not on Sunday,
I am with you on Monday,
Be not dismayed on Tuesday,
I am thy God on Wednesday,
I will strengthen you on Thursday,
I will help you on Friday,
I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness on Saturday.
Praise God for His daily faithfulness and His mercies which are new every morning.
Blessings,

Sharing my husband's post with you today from his Facebook, MEAT FOR MEN. I believe it is a powerful word.
THE FUTURE OF OUR NATION
I am very grateful that God has given us president Donald Trump. He is doing an amazing job of turning this nation around for good, even in the midst of major resistance by the main stream media, the extreme Democrat party, and some Republicans who hate his style and personality.
I heartily enjoyed his State of the Union speech. However, I was concerned over one of his achievements. He stated: “No one has benefited more from our thriving economy than women, who have filled 58 percent of the new jobs created in the last year. All Americans can be proud that we have more women in the workforce than ever before.” And continued: “We also have more women serving in Congress than at any time before.”
We noticed that immediately all “the women in white” belonging to the extreme left of the Democratic party begin to rejoice, dance around, and high five one another.
I wonder if our president and his daughter, Ivanka, who is a very strong advocate for the working women, realize that getting women out of the home and placing the children in nurseries and day care centers is one of the major agendas of the communist/extreme socialists.
The actual fact is that 76.8 million women are employed in this nation. Many are mothers. Who is caring for their children? The extreme socialists want to breakdown all traditional home and family values. They want all women out of their homes. They want to take total control of the human race, from the cradle to the grave. Both Hitlerism and Communism had this ideology in common.
A few years ago, Germany teachers encouraged that this ideology should be adopted again because of what they observed as poor parenting in their country. These educators want the children from the cradle.
However, God gave children to parents, not governments or school teachers. He wants them to be nurtured by mothers in their homes, and not even fathers replacing mothers.
Extreme socialism seeks to destroy all godly, traditional roles by mixing them up. Without a doubt, young children need their mothers in the home—loving, teaching, and taking good care of them. Mothers are naturally and innately more qualified to accomplish this than fathers. It is mothers who create the best atmosphere in the family home.
What is a home without a mother in it? It is nothing more than a sterile, empty shell.
Homes are the best place for the ministration of motherhood, not the downtown office or the tough environment of a manufacturing warehouse.
Who told us that mothers at home were not working mothers? What a lie.
Who told us that motherhood was not a true bonified career? I’ll tell you who. The extreme socialists and feminists.
Women take away jobs from men and the traditional family home goes begging. It is vacant for most of the important hours of the day. Thousands of homes could have this placard on their door: “Unoccupied from 8.00 am – 5.00 pm.” Many are unoccupied for longer hours. The home, which is the hub of society if languishing.
Motherhood and fatherhood, from God’s perspective, should always be the foundational roles of every culture. When we forsake these roles or seek to destroy them, we do so to our own peril.
David asks the question in Psalm 11:3: “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The answer is, of course, to rebuild the foundations again.
President Trump boldly stated in his State of the Union address and I want to agree with him: “We are born free, and we will stay free. Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country.” However, the promotion of women to come out from their career of homemaking and replace it with secular careerism is the socialist agenda.
America will only be as great as its foundations. It will only be as great as its homes, marriages, and families.
Be encouraged.

I know you are not. But let’s think about these words of Charles Spurgeon: "Are we not in Christ made kings to reign upon the earth? How then, can we be the servants of custom, the slaves of human opinion?”
It is adhering to God’s truth that sets us free (John 8:32). Do you live by God’s principles or the customs of this world? Are you allowing God to transform your mind with His thoughts or are you letting the “world around you squeeze you into its own mould” (Romans 12:1-2, J. B. Phillips)? May God save us from being squeezed into its mold.
When people say derogatory remarks to you about having more than the usual two children, don't be intimidated. You are not living by humanistic standards but by the eternal truths of God's Word. When folks ridicule you for homeschooling, don’t be intimidated. You are not going to allow your children to be brainwashed with transgenderism, leftist ideology, and Islamic lessons which are now all part of the public school system.
You have a higher plan than the world’s plan. Your thinking is dictated by God’s words, not by human reasoning (Isaiah 55:8, 9).
Never be ashamed of God’s plan. It’s better than man’s ways (Isaiah 1:22).

God revealed Himself to Moses as I AM THAT I AM (Exodus 3:14)! That says it. No one can question God’s purposes for He is I AM THAT I AM. No one can question His counsel for He is Jehovah and His thoughts are far above our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8, 9)..
But He is more. He is I AM today. He is I AM in the situation you face right at this moment. He is not only the faithful God of the past and the eternal future, but the God of the moment. Now! He is I AM with you in your kitchen right now, with all your frustrations and the needs of your little children and teens.
God said to Moses: “Say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” I AM comes to you right now, dear mother. Acknowledge His presence with you at this moment. No mater what is happening.
Every situation, no matter how frustrating or difficult, is sacred when I AM is with you.
Have a lovely day,
Nancy Campbell
God’s Word never goes out of date. It is for all generations. It is life-giving, life-changing, and eternal. When it speaks of the mothers being in the heart of the home, it is God’s Word for us in the 21st century as much as it was centuries ago. #godseternalword #neveroutofdate #godswordwillneverpassaway #homekeepers #homelovers #mothersinthehome #ilovemotherhood #powerofmotherhood #aboverubies #nancycampbell
It’s time to stand for life like we never have before. Are you so grieved that New York and Delaware have passed bills to abort babies right up to birth? It’s hard to believe we have come to this in our great nation. Vermont is considering a bill that allows sex selection abortions up to nine months. And other states are following.
Please stand up and be a voice in your state. How can we allow murder to carry on around us and still say silent? We must face the fact that abortion is nothing less than murder.
Did you read the article by Randy Alcorn in the latest Above Rubies called IS THE UNBORN PART OF THE MOTHER’S BODY? He clearly shows that the baby in the womb is a separate person to the mother. It is not just a part of her. He or she is a separate human being with a different genetic code, different DNA, different fingerprints and on and on. Read this article again and encourage your children to read it so they understand the truth.
We could ask ourselves the question: when Jonah landed in the whale’s belly, was he then part of the whale because he was inside the whale? No, he was still a completely different person. He was still Jonah, not a whale!
How encouraging that our president stands for life. Did you thank and praise God when he spoke these words in his SOTO address?
“There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world. And then, we had the case of the governor of Virginia where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth.”
He continued . . . “To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb. Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth: all children – born and unborn – are made in the holy image of God.”
Our president is prepared to boldly stand for life in the face of ridicule and opposition? It’s the least we can do too.

God’s understanding of beautiful is often different to ours, isn’t it? We talked yesterday about the things God sees as beautiful.
The passage written to women in 1 Peter 3:1-6 also talks about beauty. Verse 5 says: “This is how long ago the holy women who trusted God used to make themselves beautiful: They submitted to their husbands” (Beck). Wow, that’s different, isn’t it?
The William Barclay’s translation says: “Your BEAUTY must be the BEAUTY of your inner character and personality. It must consist of a gentle and serene character, a BEAUTY which the years cannot wither, for in God’s sight that is what is really precious. This was the BEAUTY with which once upon a time consecrated women, whose hopes were set on God, adorned themselves. They accepted the authority of their husbands.”
We live in a society of rebellion towards men, in fact toward all authority. Many modern women do not want to submit to anyone or anything! This is the same spirit of Lucifer who was cast out of Heaven because he did not want to submit to authority of God but wanted to be like God himself. It is an ugly thing and always ends in destruction, the destruction of marriage, home, and family.
But God says that submission is a beautiful thing. I wonder . . . do we think like God thinks? Or do we embrace the thinking of the enemy?
Do you notice that it talks about the women who lived “once upon a time”? Peter was talking about women who lived two thousand years previously. To us they are women who lived four thousand years ago. Our generation is completely opposite to these women.
And yet who is right? God’s Word never changes. It is an eternal (and therefore never goes out of date) and was given for every generation.
Psalm 119:160 says: “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” The margin of my Bibles says: “The beginning of thy word is true.”
I notice the last verse of 1 Peter 3 where it says that all the angels and authorities in heaven are subject to God and to Christ. What about on earth?
Are you living a beautiful life today?

Do you love beautiful things? I know you do.
The Bible talks about beautiful things. In Titus 2: 3-5, it tells the older women to teach the younger women “good” things. And 1 timothy 5:10 describes the beautiful attributes of a woman. The word used in both Scriptures is “kalos” and means "beautiful and valuable."
Therefore . . .
To love your husband and to be submissive and devoted to him is a beautiful thing.
To love your children and raise a family is a beautiful thing.
To be pure, good, and self-controlled are beautiful things.
To be a keeper of the home and manage it well is a beautiful thing.
To practice hospitality is a beautiful thing.
To humbly serve others and help those in distress are beautiful things.
Dear mother in the home, you are worth more than rubies and precious gems! Your God-given mandate is beautiful and valuable to your home and to the nation. And even more importantly, to God.
Blessings to you today,
Nancy Campbell

Mother, you are the backbone of the nation! You are the greatest threat to those who want to turn this nation away from God’s ways. As you pour out your life to nurture, train, and educate your children, you determine the course of this nation and even the world.
As the backbone of this nation . . .
B You are a BUILDER, building a godly marriage and family and consequently helping to build a strong nation.
A You are ANOINTED by God to mother and nurture your children. This is more powerful than any career you can have outside the home.
C You are CALLED by God to this great career. If you turn away from it, you miss your highest calling.
K You are the KEEPER of your home. You are keeping your marriage and family strong. Homekeepers are definitely the backbone of the nation. As mothers build strong homes the nation becomes stronger. When mothers vacate their homes, the nation becomes weaker.
B You are the BRIGHTNESS and glory of your home. A home is only truly a home when mother is there, making it a beautiful place with her presence.
O You are an OVERCOMER. Building a godly home, family, and heritage is no easy task. It takes strength and courage. It takes fortitude and endurance. But God is with you moment by moment, giving you the power to overcome in His name.
N You are a NATION CHANGER. When mothers get back to the home, embrace the children God wants them to have, and train them to be godly sons and daughter, they change the course of the nation.
E You are an EDUCATOR. There is no one more powerful than you, mother, to influence your children for God, to reveal to them the awesome wonder of your God and His universe. As you seek after truth, you teach your children the truth and you become an educator not only to your children, but to the rest of society.
Together, mothers, we are the BACKBONE of the nation. Let’s not give up influencing this nation and generations to come.
Blessings to you today,
Nancy Campbell
Do know the story of Ebed-melech, the Ethiopian? When he heard that the palace officials had put Jeremiah the prophet in the dungeon and he was sinking in the thick mire (and would most probably die) he rushed to the king and boldly pleaded for permission to rescue Jeremiah.
Ebed-melech took his life into his hands to stand up for right. He could have landed in the dungeon himself, because the king had just given the palace officials permission to do what they liked with Jeremiah! But Ebed-melech was not a wimp! He was not afraid of the consequences. He acted righteously and saved Jeremiah. It only took one brave man!
Often people are accused wrongly. Are we afraid to stand up for them in case we face the same consequences? Often we face an evil situation. Will we stand against the evil?
Psalm 84:16: "Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?"
May God save us from being those who turn a blind eye because we would rather not be involved. May we always stand against injustice and wrong
doing. We must be a voice for the unborn who are murdered every day.
Proverbs 31:8, 9: "Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."
And let's teach our children to support and stand by those who are accused falsely. And to stand against all evil. Read the story of Ebed-melech to your children in Jeremiah 38:6-13 and 39:16-18 and teach them to be brave soldiers for righteousness.

God demands honor and respect. He established that husbands are to be respected. He also ordained that fathers and mothers who parent on His behalf, should receive honor and respect. The Scriptures command that fathers and mothers are to be obeyed, honored, and feared.
Disrespect toward parents is also disrespect toward God.
When children disobey their parents, they disobey God. When children speak back to their parents and dishonor them, they dishonor God. It is a serious offence. Do not allow your children to get into the habit of talking back to you or being cheeky. If you allow them to do this when they are younger, what will they be like when they are older?
"One of the most dangerous contributions a parent can make toward the spiritual delinquency of his child is a failure to instill within him a wholesome respect for authority. If the parent neglects to set the proper example as an authority figure, or refuses to exercise discipline with love, he might well be rejected as an authority-figure by his child, and thus, by transference, the child ultimately may come to disdain all authority, including the Supreme Authority, God." (From Surveying the Evidence by Wayne Jackson, Eric Lyons and Kyle Butt).
Acknowledge the anointing God has given you as a parent and walk in this anointing and authority.

No matter how big the storm He is with you. Read Isaiah 43:2 again.
Dear mother, you have the wonderful privilege of showing to the world what God is like.
God speaks in Hosea 11:3-4 (NASB): "It is I who taught Ephraim to walk, I took them in my arms . . . and I bent down and fed them" What a beautiful picture of our God, who in His mercy, bends down to feed and comfort us.
In the same way, dear mother, you reveal the heart of God. When you take your baby in your arms, you are being like God. When you bend down to your little ones to feed them and tend to their needs, you are being like God.
You are not doing some insignificant, but powerful. Delight in it.

Does your heart need cheering up today? There is only one who can truly cheer you in the depths of your soul. His name is Jesus.
Are you feeding sad? Speak the name of Jesus. Are you feeling unloved? Say the name of Jesus out loud. Are you feeling hurt and ungrateful? Say, “Thank you, Jesus.” Say His name over and over again throughout this day. You cannot stay dismal when you speak His name. I love the words of the hymn…
Who can cheer the heart like Jesus
By His presence all divine,
True and tender, pure and precious,
O, how blest to call Him mine.
All that thrills my soul is Jesus,
He is more than life to me,
And the fairest of ten thousand
In my blessed Lord I see.
May you be uplifted today,
