MOTHERS ROCK!

Don't you love to sit in a rocking chair and rock when you are nursing or holding your baby?

I think every mother and grandmother should have a rocking chair. Rocking is part of mothering, isn't it? Even if I'm not sitting in a rocking chair, I still automatically rock when holding a baby or little one. In fact, even when I'm standing I rock. And I even find myself rocking from side to side when I don't have a baby in my arms, it has become so part of me.

I found this little poem when I was a young mother and loved it...

A Swinging' Mom

She rocked me as a little tyke,
I happily recall,

In winter, summer, autumn, spring,
And never let me fall.

I've gotten where I am
(and here's A psychiatric shocker!)

Because I had a mother
who Was seldom off her rocker~!

Love from Nancy
