ASSIMILATING OR FIGHTING?

AssimilatingWhy are the evils of worldliness, feminism, socialism, progressivism, abortion, homosexuality, and now transgenderism encroaching on our nation? I believe it is because God's people are not fighting against these powers of darkness.

Fighting the enemy in prayer is part of our Christian walk. It should be part of our daily home life. And of course, it should be part of church life.

I am always challenged by the words in Jeremiah 10:25: “Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, AND upon the families that call not on thy name.” In other words, God’s families who do not bother to call upon His name and stand in the gap may as well be heathen!

Are you praying against the tyranny that is happening in our nation? Were you outraged that the FBI raided Trump’s personal home? Are you concerned that Biden is recruiting 87,000 IRS agents who are being trained to come against the citizens the citizens of this nation, “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary . . . to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.” Since the invasion into Trump’s home I know personally of innocent citizens who have also had their passports removed and are under investigation.

Are you wrestling against the devil and his evil works? Ephesians 6:12 says that we are to wrestle against the rulers of the darkness of this world. We have evil and deception all around us. What are we doing about it? Are we acquiescing or fighting? To wrestle means to fight hard to win.

We cannot be neutral. We cannot be tolerant towards evil. We must stand against it. We must fight and wrestle. If we don’t, we eventually succumb to the evil itself.

Ephesians 6:13-14: “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore.” “Withstand” means more than stand. It means to “stand against, to oppose, to resist.”

Let’s battle in prayer. Stand up and speak out at every opportunity. Pray together daily as families, morning and evening. Include the children. Be part of a weekly prayer meeting in your home, community, or church. Fight these principalities and powers in prayer. If we don’t, the next generation will be assimilated more and more into the ways of the enemy.

Never give up,
