Yesterday I shared about raising children who are zealous for God. Of course, we need to be zealous ourselves if we want zealous children. Do our children see that we are zealous for God's Word? Zealous for prayer? Zealous for righteousness? Zealous to serve the Lord?
Romans 12:11 tells us to be "Fervent in spirit; serving the Lord." The word fervent actually means "BOILING HOT." We're not to be cold, lukewarm, just simmering, but BOILING HOT.
Can you just imagine what could happen in the nation if Christian families (parents and children) became BOILING HOT for God? And this is meant to be the norm!
