LIFE TO THE FULL w/ Nancy Campbell

Epi412picEPISODE 412: WELCOME TO THE LAND OF MORE AND MORE, Part 18

Do you know the four covenants God gave to Israel? And we remember that God is a covenant keeper. He does not break His covenants. Every prophetic word regarding Jesus' coming into this world and dying for our sins was fulfilled exactly to the word. Because of this, we know that every other prophetic word that is yet to come will come to pass exactly as God's word states!

Announcer: Welcome to the podcast, Life to the Full, with Nancy Campbell, founder and publisher of Above Rubies, a magazine bringing strength and encouragement to families across the world.

Nancy Campbell: Hello, ladies. Today, we are continuing point number 35 in our series, “How Much More?” We are speaking about the “how much more” of the natural branches from Romans 11. This is speaking about Israel.

Now, why am I continuing a third podcast about Israel when this is a podcast to wives and mothers? Well, dear ladies, I do believe that this is a very important subject, not only for us to know personally what God says in His Word about Israel, but so we can be prepared to share it and tell it to our children.

Because God’s plan is one generation telling His truth to the next generation. If one generation gets is wrong, well, those next generations are going to be in deception. Sadly, we are in a generation, a time in history, where there is more and more antisemitic stuff going on.

Plus, there seems to be more and more Christians taking on replacement theology which believes that the church has replaced Israel. You cannot find a Scripture for that in the Word of God, and yet, people often believe it because they’ve been told it by someone else. They don’t really know what God says.

You see, precious wives and mothers, it’s not enough for us to know one or two Scriptures about a subject. No, we have to know what God says in His Word, from Genesis to Revelation. And Israel is in God’s Word, from Genesis throughout the Word of God, right up until Revelation. We better know what God says.

And so, I have more to say today, so please be listening. Just take in these Scriptures because mainly what I’m sharing with you are the Scriptures. I do hope that you are like me, and that is your longing that you can’t get enough of the Scriptures, because I find today that so many people are listening to this podcast, that podcast, they’re on this social media, and this conspiracy theory.

They’re listening to all these but they’re not in the Word of God. They’re more listening to all this stuff from other people. It’s not what we hear from other people. It’s what we hear from the Word of God that is the truth. That’s what we’ve got to have. We’ve got to be the generation that passes on God’s truth to the next generation.

If you missed last week’s podcast, do get to listen to it, because it’s a very powerful podcast. Once again, not because I was taking it, but because of the Word, and the revelation of God’s heart about this subject. I’d love you to listen to it even if you have to listen to it again.

And share it with your children and your young people. Get them to listen to it too so they understand the truth. It is very important, because satan knows that Israel is very close to God’s heart because He chose these people. This wasn’t our plan. This was God’s plan, and if we want to follow God, we’ve got to get with God’s plan.

It’s also His plan for the land. God chose the land. He went out and espied, the Word says, E-S-P-I-E-D, espied (Ezekiel 20:6 KJV). In other words, He went out and He searched the land for His people. This was the land that He chose. It’s there, in the middle of the earth. Not only did He choose it for His people, it’s where He’s coming again to Jerusalem where He will reign. And so, it is very important.

In fact, I was just talking to a friend recently, Laurie Moore. She is the founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations. You can look up her webpage. It’s worthwhile looking it up. She is also standing strong for Israel. She was sharing with me how she was talking with a pastor recently who had turned to replacement theology. She said, “What do you do with Romans, chapters 9, 10, and 11?”

And, of course, we started off this point from Romans 11, talking about how that, although Israel is blinded in part at this time in history, God allowed that we gentiles could come in. But there is coming a time, and here it says: “How much more?” It says it two times in this chapter of Romans 11. “How much more shall these natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?”

NEVER ALLOW YOURSELF TO RESORT TO BLINK THEOLOGY

Of course, there is so much more in that chapter. Read the whole chapter again for yourself when you get a moment. She said, “Well, what can you do with this chapter when this is the Word of God?” This is New Testament. God is speaking. There’s coming a time when He’s going to reveal Himself and it’s going to be like “life from the dead.” That’s verse 15. It’s going to be so incredible when that happens. It will be like life from the dead.”

Well, this pastor answered, “I have ‘blink theology.’ I just blink my eyes when I get to those chapters. When I read anything that doesn’t fit with what I think, I just blink my eyes, and pass it over.” Can you believe a pastor believing in “blink theology”? When it doesn’t line up with what he thinks, he blinks and carries on!

I beg your pardon? We cannot blink at the Word of God. We cannot blink at one word of God’s eternal Word, which is not only here for now, but which is going to last forever. And so, what we are speaking about is so very important.

ABRAHAMIC COVENANT

Well, when I started the first podcast on this subject, I talked about how God gave Israel four different covenants. We have spoken about the first one, the ABRAHAMIC COVENANT. You’ll hear about that. If you're listening, go back to podcast #410, where I speak about how God made this covenant.

Although He made it with Abraham, He also made it for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their seed forever. But actually, God was the One Who cut the covenant because Abraham went to sleep! And God was the One Who walked through the animals that had been cut in pieces, and walked through it to say, “I will keep this covenant, and I will never break it.”

I have listed here . . . I have a document where I put together some of the Scriptures that God has given about His plans and purposes that He has yet for Israel. Some of them are happening now. Many of them are yet to happen. But they will happen! Because they have been written down in this Word. It’s amazing.

You know, when Jesus came the first time, when He came as a little baby and He came to die for our sins, it had all been predicted in the Old Testament, in the Torah, which is the first five books of the Old Testament, in the Psalms, in the Prophets. Every single prophetic word was fulfilled to exactness.

Back in the Old Testament, the lambs that they were going to sacrifice, they had to wait for four days to see if there was any blemish before they sacrificed the lamb. No lamb could be sacrificed if it had a blemish, because it was a type of the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the One Who came to save us from our sins, the Lamb of God.

But even that, Jesus fulfilled to the T when He came into Jerusalem, and they laid the palm branches before Him, and He rode into Jerusalem. And then, it was four days later that they crucified Him. And what did Pilate say? He said, “I find no fault in this man.” So, that prophetic word was fulfilled exactly, after four days, “I find no fault.”

And so, God allowed His only beloved Son to be sacrificed for our sins. I could go on and on. You can look up online and see all the fulfillments of every single thing that happened in Jesus’ birth, life, and death all there in the Old Testament.

There are now Scriptures about His second coming, and what is going to happen in the future, and what God yet has to do with Israel. They’re all there! Many haven’t yet been fulfilled, but they will be, to the very exactness, because this is God’s Word.

Anyway, we were talking about the Abrahamic covenant. It was a covenant that was irrevocable. Even as it says in Romans 11, in this chapter we started with that “The callings of God upon Israel are irrevocable.” Do you want the verse? What verse is it? Yes, it’s verse 29. There it is. Look it up for yourself. It’s irrevocable.

I was just reading one of the Scriptures I included in this document. I put together just some of the amazing promises that God has yet to fulfill for His people Israel. Dear ladies, you need to be soaked in them because then you know the truth. When you hear all this junk, and garbage, and lies, and deception that’s all out there on the internet, and in podcasts today, it’s not going to touch you because you will be filled with what God says.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO BREAK A COVENANT

Judges 2:1: “I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.” Those are the words of God about this covenant He made with Abraham. That covenant, it tells us in Genesis 17, is an everlasting covenant. It was a covenant to give them the land which would be an everlasting possession.

So, you will see, you can write in for this document and I’ll give you the right one. If you email me, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., I will be happy to send it to you. It’s twelve pages of Scriptures. Oh, they will fill you with great hope and joy and excitement for what God has ahead and for His plans. We need to be filled with them.

WATCH OUT FOR “OTHER” VOICES

And your children need to be, because I notice many young people today are hearing many deceptive voices about Israel. They listen to them because that’s what they hear. And they don’t know the Word. If we don’t know the Word, and if we’re not constantly hearing the voice of God, and the voice of God is not filling our minds and hearts through the reading of His Word, then other voices will take their place.

We either have the voice of God, or the written Word of God in our hearts, and our minds, and our mouths, yes, because God says, “I want My Word, not just in your mind, not in your heart only, but in your mouth” (Isaiah 59:21). If it’s not there, the other voices will be there instead. Now we are a big catalyst for that, mothers, because we are the ones who are going to give our children the truth.

MOSAIC COVENANT

So, the next covenant that God gave to the people of Israel was the MOSAIC COVENANT, sometimes called the Sinai Covenant, where He gave them the law, and also covenanted with His people. Well, they didn’t keep the law, did they? Nor do we. We don’t find it easy to keep the law either. That’s why Jesus had to come to save us, because we couldn’t do it ourselves.

DAVIDIC COVENANT

No. 3 was the DAVIDIC COVENANT, and that was a covenant given particularly to David, King David. It’s an amazing covenant. We go to 2 Samuel 7:10-17. I’ll just read verse 16. It says to David: “And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established forever before thee: thy throne shall be established forever.” So, here we see another covenant, another forever covenant. God’s covenants are forever and this is another irrevocable covenant. We see many, many Scriptures about that.

Jeremiah 23:5-6: “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Now, this throne of David, which God says will be established forever, we know that the One Who will reign on this throne forever and ever will be Jesus, the King of Kings. And yet, it’s called “David’s Throne.” My mind doesn’t understand. This is so amazing, how God and His Son, Jesus, so relate to us, His people. He acknowledged Himself that He was the son of David.

In fact, when we go to the lineage of Jesus in Matthew 1, this is how it starts: “The book of the generations of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” Well, actually, the Hebrew race began with Abraham. But when it states it here, David is the one who is mentioned first, “the son of David.” Throughout the gospel, He is called “The Son of David.” (1)

We go down here to verse 6, where Jesse, who is David’s father “begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon.” There were loads of kings mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus. They were all kings from David onwards. But the only one who is called “the king” is David. Even after David was dead and buried, the prophets spoke about this “throne of David” coming, and how it would be forever and ever.

And yet, David’s dead. Yet, the prophecies say that this reign on David’s throne will be forever. So, we know that it is actually Jesus Who will be reigning. But isn’t it amazing that it’s called “David’s Throne”? We can even go into the New Testament to see this. It’s quite amazing. In fact, I have to confess, ladies, that I hadn’t really noticed this myself until a while back.

WE STOP TOO SOON!

And I’m reading from Luke 1:30-33, when the angel came to Mary, to tell her that she would have a son by the Holy Spirit. We all know what the angel said to Mary, but we’ll read it again. “And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: . . .” And that’s where we finish.

OK, that’s all about how Jesus was coming as a little baby. But, ladies, that’s not the end of the sentence. It’s not a period. It’s only the mid-sentence! It goes on: “And . . . .” Well, what happens next? “And the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of his father David: And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.”

Now, when we have the Christmas message, do people read the end of the sentence? Because that’s the end of the sentence. When the angel came, he told Mary that she would bring forth a baby, but he ends the sentence saying that He will have “the throne of His father David: and He shall reign over the house of Jacob” or the house of Israel “forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.”

Sometimes, we, as gentile Christians, forget Who our Savior is. We often forget Who our God is, because this Scripture tells us that Jesus will reign on a Jewish throne over the house of Israel forever and ever. We are going to be part of that. Hallelujah and glory to God!

But we cannot forget, first of all, He will be reigning over the house of Israel. That’s the spoken word of God. Amazing. Actually, we go back to Isaiah 9:6-7, where it tells about Jesus coming as a baby. And you know these verses so well too.

Let’s read them: “For unto us a Child is born; unto us a Son is given. And the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. And of the increase of His government, there shall be no end, . . .” And, once again, ladies, we’re in the middle of a sentence. There’s a comma here, not a period.

And so, what does it say next? Let me get it in context again. “Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

That’s the same message we read in Luke, starting off: “Unto us a Son is born; unto us a Child is given.” And . . . “of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David.” There it is again. “Upon the throne of David.” Wow! That’s a Jewish throne.

A JEW WILL RULE THE WORLD

Did you know that a Jew will one day rule the world? Because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born as a Jewish baby from a Jewish mother. He lived a Jewish life. He became a Jewish rabbi. He died as King of the Jews. The Bible tells us, over and over again, that He is going to reign as King of the Jews. And we gentiles are so blessed, so gloriously blessed to be brought into this wonderful kingdom. Amen and amen. But we have to get our theology straight, don’t we? And do it according to the Word of God.

NEW COVENANT

And then, the fourth covenant was the NEW COVENANT. Well, we’re in the New Testament now! Woohoo! But do you know to whom was given the New Covenant first? Yes, dear ladies, the New Covenant was first given in the Old Testament!

OK, let’s read. Jeremiah 31:31-36: “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.” Did you hear that? This is the New Covenant. “Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt . . . But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD” (after those days. Do you notice it hasn’t happened yet? For we, praise the Lord, have been brought into the New Covenant. The Jews, many have come in also, but many are still blinded in part. As it says in Romans 11, but the day is coming! “After those days, saith the Lord,” it’s going to happen. The day is coming.

“I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people . . . for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”  Those words are repeated in the New Testament in Hebrews 8:7-13.

But they are also spoken again in the Old Testament three more times. Four times God gave this new covenant to His people. To make a note of it, if you want to check them out, Jeremiah 32:39-41 and also Ezekiel 11:19-20. also, chapter 36:24-38. So, you can look those up, because it’s not only given once, but given four times in the Old Testament, and also in the New, of course.

Let me read from Ezekiel 36:24: “For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries.” He is doing that, even now. They are coming back to the land, to the land of Israel. We talked about that last week. “And I will bring you into YOUR OWN LAND.” Whoo, do you notice that? “Your own land.”

Now, dear ladies, let me just ask a question. These people who say that the church has replaced Israel, what do they do with this Scripture where God says He is bringing His people from all the countries of the world back to their own land? He says particularly: “Into your own land.”

That land became a nation again in 1948 and it was miraculous. God did that, because how could He bring them back to the land if the land wasn’t there? Well, the land was there, but it wasn’t theirs at that time. But now it is theirs. God caused that to happen.

And so, if they think the church has replaced Israel, well, are they saying, “Well, Israel is my land”? Then why aren’t they going back there? God says He’s bringing them back. This was spoken to God’s people.

Then, you see, after He brought them back, the day is coming when He says: “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

“And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be My people, and I will be your God.”

THE NEW BEGAN IN THE OLD

Well, it’s amazing, isn’t it, that the New Covenant, although the whole New Testament is now the New Covenant BUT it began with Israel and Judah in the Old Testament, because everything is in the Old. Even when Jesus was speaking to the Samaritan woman at the well. Do you remember that story? And Jesus said to her in John 4:22: “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.”

Now, why did Jesus say that? Because the whole Old Testament is full of the revelation of Jesus, and the New Covenant to come, and about Jesus coming to this world as a baby, and then to be crucified and save us from our sins. In fact, when Jesus was talking to the two on the way to Emmaus, remember? Jesus had died and two of the disciples were walking back to their home in Emmaus. They were so crestfallen, so down and upset because they thought, “This is the end.” They didn’t know Jesus was risen from the dead.

He came alongside them, and they didn’t know who He was, of course. He asked them why they were so sad. Then He goes on to speak to them. And He says to them in Luke 24:25: “Oh, slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses” (that’s the first five books of the Old Testament, the Torah) “and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” And He revealed it all from the Old Testament. They didn’t have the New Testament.

And then we go over the Acts. Here again, Paul didn’t have the New Testament, but he was versed in the Old Testament. It tells us here in Acts 17:2, 3: “And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the Scriptures” (that’s out of the Old Testament) “opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.” Paul was persuading them and giving them understanding from the Old Testament.

Then we go over to Acts 28:23. We read here: “And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.” And this was all out of the Old Testament.

In fact, go back to Luke. This is another time when Jesus came to His disciples, right at the very end before he went back to glory. In Luke 24:44, it says: “And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.”

And so, once again, Jesus is saying: “salvation is of the Jews.” It was written to the Jews, and in everything that God gave them to do, it was all pointing to Christ. Back in Leviticus, we read about all the things that they had to do in the tabernacle, and all the offerings, and all about it.

Many Christians are not very familiar with it all, but all those things pointed to Christ. In fact, Paul also causes us to look to that. In Romans 9:3-5 he says: “I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, that I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: who are Israelites.”

Then he begins to explain who they really are: “to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants” (We’ve just been talking about the four covenants that God gave to His people. Even the New Covenant was given to Israel).

“And the giving of the law, and the service of God.” That’s all the service that they did in the tabernacle. The daily sacrifice of the lamb which pointed to Christ. Then going into the Holy Place, we see the table of showbread, and the seven-branched candlestick, and the altar of incense. Every one speaks of Christ.

Of all the things God wants us to understand, the Israelites understood them and knew them. Well, they didn’t understand them fully. They did them, I think, many times in ignorance. But when they understood that Jesus was their Messiah (at the early church, there were 3,000 who were saved on the day of Pentecost. And later there were many, many thousands (Acts 4:4 and 21:20). (2)

We were just reading in Acts the other Sunday. Don’t you know that there are many thousands of the Jews who believed? There were thousands there in the beginning of the church age of the Jews that believed.

When they realized that Jesus, Yeshua, was their Messiah, they then could understand all the service of the tabernacle, and all that they had been involved in all their lives: “to whom was given the service of God, and the promises; whose are the fathers (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob), and of whom, as concerning the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.”

And so, it all came through the Jewish people. We read that it was through the flesh that Christ came. What is he saying? It was through the Israelites that Christ came. He was born a baby from a Jewish mother. But not only did Jesus come through the Jewish people but they are the ones who have preserved these Holy Scriptures that we hold so dear today.

THE JEWS PRESERVED GOD’S WORD FOR US

Yesterday I was at the Wonders Center in Dickson. It’s a scientific museum, a wonderful place to go and visit with your children if you come to Tennessee. They had one area showing the validity of God’s Word. I took a picture of some interesting information here. I have this for you.

“Did you know over 4000 rules governed how scribes copied the Torah? Including how many letters per column, and even how long they could go without looking away from the master copy. If a single letter was smudged, cracked, or incorrectly formed, the entire sheet had to be replaced.

“Torah scrolls contain exact letter counts. Scribes check the middle letter of each book to ensure perfection. For thousands of years, long before the printing press, Jewish scribes, known as soferim, copied the Torah entirely by hand onto vellum, a specially prepared animal skin prized for its durability. Vellum scrolls can last hundreds of years when stored properly, far longer than early paper manuscripts.

“A completed Torah scroll typically contains 304,805 letters, all hand-written, without punctuation or vowels. These carefully created scrolls preserved the Word of God across generations.

“As scrolls aged and wore out, new ones were created. Yet old scrolls were rarely discarded. They were reverently stored or buried, because they contained sacred texts. By comparing ancient scrolls with more recent ones, scholars consistently find remarkable accuracy, demonstrating the extraordinary care of the scribes.”

And so, they preserved God’s Word for us. They brought forth our Savior. And God is not going to abandon them.

I’d love you to email me for a copy of all the promises that God has given, that He has planned for Israel. On this document, I put together over 75 passages. Now, that’s not all of them. That’s less than half of them. But that’s just some to give you an insight and an understanding of God’s heart.

They are so important for you, to not only have for yourselves, but to read to your children and for your family devotions when you're reading the Word to your children. Take so many each day, and read it to them, so they can hear God’s heart and know what God said. Because, lovely mothers, we’ve got to be the ones who carry on the truth. Pass it on from one generation to the other. Amen and Amen.

I trust you have been blessed and encouraged by these precious words of God. You can be blessed more if you email into This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You will love these Scriptures. They will fill you with joy and excitement as you read them, not only because many of them are happening right now and many are yet to happen.

“Dear Father, we thank You for Your eternal Word, which does not lie. We thank You, Lord God, that You have said in Your Word, ‘I will not break My covenant with Israel.’ And, Lord, although we do not see the fullness of that yet, because so many are still in unbelief, still blinded in part.

“But Lord, we hold onto Your Scriptures, which tell us what is going to happen, and what You are going to do, and how that there is going to be “how much more” when Your people come in. For they are Your people, because we know that when the Lord Jesus came, the Bible says He came unto His own. They were His own people, and He will never forsake them (just as He will never forsake you).

“We thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You, dear Father. We thank You for Your promises, and we believe every word. We will always hang on and stand on every word that You have written. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

(1) An Example: Matthew 12:23: “And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?” “The son of David” is a phrase meaning the Messiah!

(2) Murray Dixon writes in his book: “The Rebirth and Restoration of Israel” that at the time when the church leaders called a council meeting in Acts 15 that there would have been about 50,000 believers in Jerusalem.
