WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?

WhoseSideYesterday I stated: The devil wants to keep everything about God in a little box. He does not want us to spread the truth and light of the gospel. He hates the truth. He hates the light, and he wants to keep people in darkness.

He also wants to keep us in the dark about the blessing of having children. Yes, he really hates this truth! To bring forth the godly seed is anathema to the devil.

We see how the enemy became very agitated when the children of Israel multiplied in Egypt. The new Pharaoh was shaking in his boots. He said to his people: "Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: Come on, let us deal wisely with them; LEST THEY MULTIPLY." The devil is scared of God's people multiplying. He does everything in his power to "rob, kill, and destroy" to stop children coming into the world.

Will we give in to his strategy to hide the revelation of God in the earth? Or are we on God's side? We can be so assimilated and even mesmerized by our godless and humanistic society that we fail to recognize that when we oppose or deny life coming into the world that we are on the devil's side. It's a plain fact that the devil hates life but God loves life. Which side are we on?

Each new baby is a fresh revelation of the image of God on earth. Let's not hold back the revelation of God. Let's not hold back the children God wants to bring into this world.

I am so glad you are a testimony of God's truth and that you are shining His light in the midst of the darkness. Keep spreading the truth. Never be silent.

Blessings to you today from Nancy Campbell

COURAGEOUS MOTHERS

CourageousMothersThe devil wants to keep everything about God in a little box. He does not want us to spread the truth and light of the gospel. He hates the truth. He hates the light, and he wants to keep people in darkness.

Do you remember when Peter and John prayed for the man who was lame from his mother’s womb, and he was immediately healed? He began walking, leaping, and praising God. All the people saw it and began to praise God. In fact, about 5,000 people believed on Jesus. This was too much for the devil.

The priests and Sadducees put Peter and John in custody until the next day when they met together to make their decision. Their verdict? “’We can’t deny that they have performed a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it. But to keep them from SPREADING THEIR PROPAGANDA ANY FURTHER, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in Jesus’ name again.’ So they called the apostles back in and commanded them never again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus” (Acts 4:16-18 NLT).

Do you notice that they called the truth PROPAGANDA? A visible miracle was performed for all to see but to the enemies of Christ it was propaganda. That is what’s happening today. Anyone who stands up against the tyranny in our nation is called a conspiracist. Unless you fall in completely with the liberal agenda, your beliefs are propaganda. I mentioned yesterday about 87,000 IRS agents our liberal government want to bring in. It’s common knowledge but comments disowned it. Scroll down and you’ll see their plans in their own words, including “carrying firearms and willing to use deadly force.”

Did Peter and John become victims to their verdict? No. They answered: “Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:19, 20).

The devil wants to close our mouths. He does not want the gospel to be proclaimed. He does not want the truth to get out. He propagates lies and deception and fake news.

As mothers, we must be courageous for truth. If we are wishy-washy, stay silent, and cave into the droning fake news, what will happen to our children? We must know the truth to tell them the truth. We must be bold for the truth and teach them to stand up boldly for truth. If we allow this next generation to be deceived by the current socialist agenda, there is no hope for this nation.

ASSIMILATING OR FIGHTING?

AssimilatingWhy are the evils of worldliness, feminism, socialism, progressivism, abortion, homosexuality, and now transgenderism encroaching on our nation? I believe it is because God's people are not fighting against these powers of darkness.

Fighting the enemy in prayer is part of our Christian walk. It should be part of our daily home life. And of course, it should be part of church life.

I am always challenged by the words in Jeremiah 10:25: “Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, AND upon the families that call not on thy name.” In other words, God’s families who do not bother to call upon His name and stand in the gap may as well be heathen!

Are you praying against the tyranny that is happening in our nation? Were you outraged that the FBI raided Trump’s personal home? Are you concerned that Biden is recruiting 87,000 IRS agents who are being trained to come against the citizens the citizens of this nation, “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary . . . to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.” Since the invasion into Trump’s home I know personally of innocent citizens who have also had their passports removed and are under investigation.

Are you wrestling against the devil and his evil works? Ephesians 6:12 says that we are to wrestle against the rulers of the darkness of this world. We have evil and deception all around us. What are we doing about it? Are we acquiescing or fighting? To wrestle means to fight hard to win.

We cannot be neutral. We cannot be tolerant towards evil. We must stand against it. We must fight and wrestle. If we don’t, we eventually succumb to the evil itself.

Ephesians 6:13-14: “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore.” “Withstand” means more than stand. It means to “stand against, to oppose, to resist.”

Let’s battle in prayer. Stand up and speak out at every opportunity. Pray together daily as families, morning and evening. Include the children. Be part of a weekly prayer meeting in your home, community, or church. Fight these principalities and powers in prayer. If we don’t, the next generation will be assimilated more and more into the ways of the enemy.

Never give up,

THE AGE OF DISTRACTIONS

AgeofDistractionMankind has always faced distractions because distractions are mainly in our hearts and minds. However, I am sure we would admit that there has never been a time when there is so much to distract our minds and attention. This electronic age is a temptation to us and to our children. I notice young people who can hardly focus on looking you in the eye and talking to you because they are constantly looking down at their iPhone to check messages.

How are we relating? We are either disciplined or distracted. We are either focused or fragmented. Firstly in our relationship with the Lord. I am inherently a disciplined person, but I have to confess that I can also tempted. It is convenient to have God's Word on our iPads or iPhone, but it can be a distraction. There are times when I may think, "I'll just check my messages before I read the Word" and lo and behold I have wasted valuable time when I could have been doing the most important--listening to God speak to me through His living and powerful Word. I find it less tempting to use my Bible!

And what about the most important career God has given to us of motherhood? Satan is a pro at keeping us distracted from our highest calling. There are so many things we can get involved in outside the home even as a stay-at-home mother. We have the Internet, organizations, and people pulling at us from every direction. And most of these things that compete for our time are good or we wouldn't even contemplate them. But they distract us from the most important.

Another thing we must watch is being caught up with the present
circumstances rather than keeping our eyes on the long-term goal. Oh yes, as a mother we have to attend to interruptions that continually happen throughout the day, but we must watch that we don't allow something that looms up in front of us to take us away from our calling.

Keep your eyes on the goal. Keep your eyes on eternity (2 Corinthians 4:18 and Philippians 3:13, 14).

Which are you? Distracted or disciplined? Fragmented or focused?

May you have a productive day in your home,

Nancy Campbell

PROTECTED AND PRESERVED

Saved and Preserved1 Timothy 2:15 tells us that we will be "saved in childbearing." Does this mean that we will be saved from having a painless childbirth experience? Some women experience this, but the Scripture actually means the complete embracing of motherhood-birthing and then nurturing and raising children.

The word "saved" is "sozo" and has a wonderful rich meaning. It comes from a root word, "saos" which means "safe." That's nice, isn't it? But it also means "to be healed, preserved, protected, delivered, and made whole." On a number of occasions when Jesus healed people He said: "Thy faith hath made thee WHOLE." The word "whole" is "sozo," the same word used for mothers in 1Timothy 2:15.

How blessed we are that when we embrace the plan God has for us as women. We will be saved from deception (as that is the context of this passage) but we will also be preserved and protected physically. Science is now catching up with God's truth and more and more studies reveal that the more babies a mother births and nurses at her breast, the more physical blessing she receives. She is also protected from the epidemic of female cancers.

Thank you, Lord for your protection and care and for the perfect plan you have for your female creation.

Be blessed today as you embrace God's wonderful plan of mothering and child-rearing.

Have a wonderful day in your home today,

Nancy Campbell

CEMENTED OR FRAGMENTED?

Cemented or FragmentedWho is your marriage all about? Is it all about you? Many couples live together but are not bound together or even enjoy life together. They start off with great love, enjoyment, and enthusiasm but often their relationship grows boring and cold.

Why? I believe it's the "all about me" syndrome. What is my husband doing for me? How is my husband serving me? I have a right to be who I am and do my own thing. Soon the couple are living their own separate lives instead of being cemented together.

The very first marriage principle that God gave is oneness. Genesis 2:24 states that the married couple are to be "one flesh." We are not separate entities. We are one. We should think oneness. We should be yielded to one another to be "one flesh" as much as possible. We should be yielded to one another in one spirit, mind, and purpose to build our marriage and family.

We haven't got time to be pursuing our own life. Forget selfishness. It's self-destructive. God has given us a mandate to build a family and establish His kingdom on earth TOGETHER! It's a TOGETHER TASK!

The more we become one, the stronger we become. The more fragmented we become, the weaker we become.

Think of some ways to connect together today.

Be blessed,

GOD SPEAKS TO FAMILIES

GodSpeaksToFamiliesGod speaks to us individually, but did you know that He also wants to speak to us as families? God is vitally interested in our individual lives, but He also sees us collectively as families. This is the way He planned for us to live, as families.

Jeremiah 2:4 states: "Hear the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and ALL THE FAMILIES of the house of Israel."

God wants not only you and your husband, but also your children to hear His words. This is why it is paramount to come together as families, evening and morning, and listen to God speak to us as a family as we read His Word.

We discuss together what He is saying to us a family. We learn together as a family. We press on in the ways of God together as a family. We pray together as a family.

We do not leave our children behind.

As you hear God speaking to you as a family, you will be cemented strongly together as a family.

Be blessed,

WHY DON'T WE LIKE TO OBEY?

ObedienceGod's kingdom is based on obedience, starting with the Godhead. Jesus Himself, the Son of God, was obedient, obedient to the death of the cross—and we are commanded to have this same attitude (John 14:15, 21, 23; Philippians 2:5-8; and 1 John 5:3).

Every blessing hinges on obedience. God told His people in Isaiah 1:19: "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." And yet why do we resist obeying? We are so prone toward the flesh, aren't we? We want to do it out way, and yet it never brings blessing.

We cannot run our homeland unless it is based on obedience. Titus 2:5 commands us wives to be obedient to our husband. We set the example for our children who are to be obedient to us. When obedience is established in the home, the home runs smoothly.

When a wife resists her husband, there is no peace. When children are not trained to obey, there is chaos! No mother can enjoy mothering disobedient children. No wonder many mothers don't like mothering. They have children who are out of control.

Establish obedience in your home and the blessing of God will come down.

Provers 29:17 says: “Correct thy son, and he shall give thee REST; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.”

WE HAVE AN ANCHOR

WeHaveAnchorWe sang this old hymn at our Family Devotions yesterday morning. It was written by Priscilla Owens (1829 – 1907). Aren’t they great words?

Will your anchor hold in the storms of life,
When the clouds unfold their wings of strife?
When the strong tides lift, and the cables strain,
Will your anchor drift or firm remain?

CHORUS:

We have an anchor that keeps the soul,
Steadfast and sure while the billows roll,
Fastened to the Rock which cannot move,
Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love.

It is safely moored, ’twill the storm withstand,
For ’tis well secured by the Savior’s hand;
And the cables passed from His heart to mine,
Can defy the blast, through strength divine.

It will firmly hold in the straits of fear,
When the breakers have told the reef is near;
Though the tempest rave and the wild winds blow,
Not an angry wave shall our bark o’erflow.

It will surely hold in the floods of death,
When the waters cold chill our latest breath;
On the rising tide it can never fail,
While our hopes abide within the veil.

RESTORING A GODLY NATION!

RestoreGodlyNationSome years back I received this prophetic writing from a friend. I would love to share it with you today as I believe this word is needed more than ever:

The old town church bell began to ring. There was heard a shout! It was a call throughout the land for mothers everywhere to return home.

"The children need you,” came the cry.

"Your husbands need you," the preacher urged from the front church steps.

"This nation needs a great Christian revival for Mothers to get back on the old-fashioned path of being at home. This is your post. Stand by! Stand Fast! The country is in turmoil. There is misery and suffering everywhere. We need all the mothers in the home. Dig in your heels and make your homes lighthouses of holiness and service. Don't let the enemy invade the hearts of our homes. Don't let the enemy get a foothold in or they will slowly erode and take away the godly home."

There was a cry of repentance and lamentation. There were tears of conviction and a softening of cold, worldly hearts which had been hardened by materialism, the seeking of money, and a life of seeking constant recreation. Work must be done in the home! A sense of joy, pride, and relief filled these mother’s minds. There was heavenly work to do, and they were coming from the byways and highways back to their own homes. The Mother's place was being restored everywhere.

As the sun rose the next morning, there were mothers on their knees in prayer. They were reading their Bibles. They were making homemade breakfasts, doing the laundry, wearing aprons, and caring for all who entered their doors. They were soldiers for the HOME.

Every house had a mother in her post in every community across this land. Every child in every neighborhood had security and peace knowing that a loving, godly mother was always home. Their innocence was restored and protected.

Husbands were now known in the gates for their work in civic and church duty. They were no longer coming home to empty houses or having to take on the extra task of mother's work. They served the community and took on church work. They had loving wives at home who cared for their families and provided a place of rest.

All the prayers and Bible reading from the mothers infiltrated the lighthouses and brought holiness into the children's souls. Mothers trained up their children to do a mighty work for the Lord. Mother was always there to make nutritious meals, to keep the home pretty and clean, and to have the patience of a saint to care for her charges.

This revival of Mothers at Home affected the land and the nation. Godly children grew up with integrity and honor. They took political offices, held places of authority in both business and government and their actions and lives turned the tides and won the war against the threat of ungodly ruin and sinful devastation.

The tide was turned. Mothers helped win the war because they heard the preacher's cry. They heard the bell from the town church which called all citizens to stand fast, to stand by, and to take action! The land was restored to order as all the mothers were called out of the world and back into their homes.

They sacrificed much, they sacrificed energy, money, and fulfillment. And by their actions of a mass exodus of Mothers back to their homes, these women restored a godly nation!

THE HIGHWAY OR THE BYWAY

HighwayBiwayWe sometimes forget that God's Word is for ALL generations and that includes our 21st century. God, who created mankind, designed and planned the way for us to live. And what is His plan? Marriage and family life. Because God planned it, it is the HEALTHIEST AND HAPPIEST way to live. Sadly, we don't always see the evidence of this today, do we?

Why? Because people are too modern for God, even though He is the same, yesterday, today and forever! They think the "ancient paths," the principles God established in the very beginning, are too old fashioned for them.

We live in a humanist and deceived age. There are bypaths everywhere and many of them look wise and good, but if they veer off the highway of God's plan, they eventually take us down a road of destruction.

Jeremiah 18:15 (MLB): "My people have forgotten Me . . . they have stumbled in their ways, in the ancient roads, and have WALKED IN BYPATHS, NOT THE HIGHWAY.” This is the way it is translated in most versions, but the ESV says they "walk into side roads, not the highway." The NLT says they "walk in muddy paths." Moffat's translation says that they "take to bypaths of their own."

The Hebrew for "walk in bypaths" is translated in other places in the Old Testament as "desolation, astonishment, or waste."

Are you on THE highway, or walking a bypath? Make sure you and your family fill your minds and hearts with the Word daily. This is the only map to keep us on the highway and unless we constantly refer to it, we often don't realize we are on a bypath.

Jeremiah 6:16: "Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is, THE GOOD WAY and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls."

Enjoy the “good way” today,

A HAPPY MARRIAGE

AHappyMarriageWhat's your disposition toward your husband? I was struck by Way's translation of Titus 2:4 which exhorts wives "to be amiable and submissive to their own husbands." To be amiable makes for a happy and loving atmosphere.

The dictionary meaning of amiable is "good-natured and friendly." This is a good translation of the Greek word that is used in this Scripture which is the word "philandros." It means "to be affectionate and friendly."

This is the attitude God wants us to have as wives. Then why do we get so prickly, irritated, and impatient with our husbands?

Ask God to take away your prickliness. Ask Him to fill you with His amiableness. Get into the habit of reacting with an amiable spirit rather than an impatient spirit.

Think of ways to be good-natured, friendly, and affectionate to your husband. That means taking time to stop what you are doing and look at him, smile at him, touch him, hug him, and kiss him.

Can anyone say Amen?

Have a wonderful day,

TWELVE BIBLICAL REASONS WHY GOD WANTS TO GIVE US CHILDREN?

TwelveReasons to have babies1. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO BLESS YOU (Genesis 1:27-28; 9:1, 2, 7; Psalm 128:3-4 and loads of others). There is a whole chapter on these blessing Scriptures in the book, Be Fruitful and Multiply.

2. BECAUSE HIS FACE AND FAVOR IS TURNED TOWARD YOU (Leviticus 26:9).

3. BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU (Deuteronomy 7:13).

4. BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY AND COMPASSION TOWARD YOU (Deuteronomy 13:17).

5. BECAUSE HE REJOICES OVER YOU (Deuteronomy 28:63).

6. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO DO YOU GOOD (Genesis 32:12; Deuteronomy 28:6; and 30:5).

7. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO HONOR YOU (1 Chronicles 25:4-5 and Psalm 127:5).

8. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO ABUNDANTLY PROSPER YOU (Deuteronomy 28:11).

9. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO REWARD YOU (Psalm 127:3).

10. BECAUSE OF HIS LOVINGKINDNESS TOWARD YOU (Psalm 107:41-43).

11. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO GIVE YOU JOY AND GLADNESS (Psalm 113:9; 127:5; and Luke 1:13-14).

12. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO FILL THE EARTH WITH HIS IMAGE--AND FILL ETERNITY (Genesis 1:28; Malachi 2:15 and loads of others).

How many more reasons do you need?

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WEAR OUT

DontWearOutThe greatest temptation from the enemy of our souls is in our minds. Revelation 12:9 calls him "that old serpent." He mostly attacks us in our minds, or should I say, even torments us. He brings to our minds thoughts of doubt, deception, despondency, rejection, anger, self-pity, and even despair. And yes, worry, worry, worry! If we are not aware of his tactics and do not resist them, they become bigger he wins the victory.

Daniel 7:25 speaks about the coming anti-Christ (although this same spirit is already in the world): "He shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High." The words "wear out" in the Hebrew mean "to afflict mentally." These words are only used in a mental sense. This is Satan's strategy. To wear us out in our minds with unbelieving and deceiving thoughts. If you are worrying, confused, and tormented in your mind, you can't function emotionally or physically.

Therefore, you must be on the alert. You don't have to let the enemy wear you out! This is not God's plan. You can't stop these thoughts coming to your mind, but you stop them embedding in your mind! You don't have to dwell on them for one minute! Resist them in the name of Jesus. Throw them out of your mind. They don't belong in your redeemed mind.

My daughters call them "bucket thoughts" which they throw in the garbage!

1 Peter 1:13 says: "Gird up the loins of your mind." In Bible days the men wore long tunics and when doing physical exercise pulled up their tunic and tucked it in their belt so they would not be hindered. In the same way, we must eradicate of any thoughts in our minds that hinder us from walking in the victory which Jesus Christ died to give us.

Be encouraged again today with 2 Corinthians 5:4, 5: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity EVERY THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ."

May you have a victorious day triumphing over the wiles of the devil. You do not have to let him wear you out.

Blessings from Nancy Campbell

YOUR POWERFUL INFLUENCE

Your Powerful InfluenceIt's amazing that King Hezekiah turned out a godly man. His father, Ahaz, was a very wicked king and even sacrificed his own children to Molech. He was so wicked that when he died, they did not even bury him in the sepulchers of the kings of Israel. But Hezekiah, his son "wrought that which was good and right and truth before the Lord his God" (2 Chronicles 29:1, 2 and 31:20, 21).

Why did he turn out to be a righteous king? 2 Kings 18:1-6 tells us: "Hezekiah . . . reigned 29 years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Abi (shortened version of Abijah), the daughter of Zachariah. And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord." His father's influence was evil, but he had a godly mother.

A mother's influence is powerful. It is interesting that when the Bible writes about the kings of Israel and Judah it begins by stating whether they were wicked or good-and includes the name of their mother! The mother's influence determined the course of their lives, and ultimately the destiny of the nation.

Perhaps your husband is not walking in the ways of God. Do not give up influencing your children for God. Keep pouring God's truths into your children. Live your godly life before them. Pray for them daily. God has chosen you to steer them in the ways of God.

Blessings,

Nancy Campbell
