THE COMING ONE
Did you know that Christ is referred to as the COMING ONE? Hebrews 10:37 (HCSB) says, "For yet in a very little while, the Coming One will come and not delay." We know that this is talking about the Second Coming of Christ. What a glorious day that will be! But our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is not only coming again to take us to Heaven, but He is the Coming One in the present tense. He comes to dwell in our hearts by His Spirit. I love the words of Jesus in John 14:23 (HCSB): "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and WE WILL COME TO HIM and make Our home with him." He wants to come to you in your home--right where you are in your kitchen with all your little ones around you, all needing you at the same time. You feel inadequate, but God doesn't want you to mother on your own; He wants to come to you. He wants to come to you as you face challenges with your older children. You may feel like wringing your hands in despair, but you are not on your own. He wants to come to you with His anointing and give you His wisdom.
Embrace Him into your life today. Embrace Him into your home and whatever you are facing. Embrace Him as the Coming One, for this is what He wants to do. COME TO YOU.
