WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE SING THE HIGH PRAISES? No. 5.

PraiseTheLordThe high praises of God in our mouth . . .

5. RELEASES THE ANOINTING OF GOD’S PRESENCE

Over and over again, I notice that praise and worship precludes and promotes:

a) prophetic utterance and speaking in tongues.
b) the proclamation of God’s Word with more power and affectivity to arrest and touch the hearts and spirits of men, and
c) brings a greater sense of God’s presence.

Psalm 16:11 says: “In thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.”

Luke 5:17 tells us that “the power of the Lord was present to heal.” The truth is that there is not only healing power in God’s presence, but an answer and provision to every need of man.

In our church gatherings we must not substitute God’s presence with décor, brilliant organization, and excellence of speech, etc. We must seek earnestly for God’s presence.

In Exodus 33:14-16 God said to Moses: “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And Moses said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight” is not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

It is the presence of God upon our lives and in our churches that proves that God is with us. The difference between the true people of God and others is the anointed presence of God.

Be encouraged.
