Proverbs 8:6: “I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.”

GENTLE LIPS
Proverbs 15:1 (HCSB): “A gentle answer turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up wrath.”

Proverbs 5:2 (NET): “That your lips may guard knowledge.”
Proverbs 6:2: “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth.”
Proverbs 13:3: “He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.”

Proverbs 16:10 (NLT): “The king speaks with divine wisdom; he must never judge unfairly.”
