THE COMMON BATTLE

There is a common battle that we mothers face. I'll call it the Martha/Mary battle. We can so easily be completely consumed by the never ending demands of running our homes and families. We naturally focus on all the very necessary things that have to be done, but that can lead to not having enough time left after it all, to enjoy the children and our husbands. I have noticed this battle within myself, especially during our move this week. We must regularly pace ourselves, and balance our Martha's with our Mary's. After all, the work does not all have to get done this minute. Take time to just be each day. Love Michelle
