PARADIGM SHIFT

I love to think of Corrie Ten Boom and her sister Betsy. In the face of the most horrific circumstances, Betsy always encouraged everyone, including Corrie, to look to the praiseworthy, and to enjoy life to the fullest, no matter what. Their lives gave so much inspiration!

Sometimes it is too easy, and dare I say perhaps even comforting, to complain and grumble. Pity parties seem to be the easiest parties to throw!
Yet we all know that they create no memorable memories. Today I want to walk as the Ten Boom girls walked, facing adversity with the joy of the Lord and the thankfulness that accompanies a saved sinner's life.
Would you like to confess with me that we will not be defined by our circumstances, and that we will walk in joy and truth? Not the truth of our circumstances of course, as sometimes they are trying, but rather in the eternal truth of our Lord. We truly are so blessed. Love Michelle
