It is easy to forget how important our roles as wives are, when we are so busy being mothers.
I must confess that I have had to take special notice, and pay close attention, to being a wife. Especially this month, when I am trying to estalish the habit of being more affectionate to my husband.
I have realized anew how crucial it is to build up our marriages, and spend time together as man and wife, not just as mom and dad. To be effective, we must be solid as individuals in our walk with the Lord, solid in our marriages as pictures of Christ and the church, and solid as parents, in our raising of the next generation in the faith.
We must work on those goals that have everlasting value, and learn to put aside the lesser things.
