JUST A STAY AT HOME MUM

I grew up in a culture where being a 'stay at home mum' gave off the impression that the mum must be fairly uneducated and unable to do much else with her life, hence she 'just' stayed home.

What a complete and utter falsehood! Running a home smoothly, training children through all stages of life, figuring out how to feed a growing family with nourishing and wholesome food, and being a godly wife take more skill than many professions!

Stay at home mums need to be experts in far more than one field, and it takes endurance, perseverance, diligence, wisdom, passion, research and so much more! How can anyone believe that a stay at home mum is for the weak-minded?

Stay at home mums are among the very most gifted and competent members of society! Truth!
