ON WHICH SIDE ARE YOU BUILDING?

There are ultimately only two kingdoms in this world--the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. The big question we have to ask is: what kingdom are we building for? As we daily build our homes and families we are building for one kingdom or the other.

Hebrews 1:8 says: “Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.” In other words, the hallmark of God’s kingdom is RIGHTESOUSNESS. Talking of Jesus Christ, the next verse (v. 9) says: “Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity, therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”

Romans 14:17 says: “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but RIGHTEOUSNESS, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

And we all know Matthew 6:33: “ Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his RIGHTEOUSNESS; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

As we build our little kingdom home, which we want to be part of God’s kingdom, we must lift up righteousness in our home. We must cast out all that is foreign to righteousness. Anything that is unrighteous or unclean allows Satan’s kingdom to get a foothold in our home.

Become a builder for God’s kingdom of righteousness. It’s worth it. It’s an everlasting kingdom that has no end.

Be encouraged.
